Head of Business Development - Business Analytics

We need someone who can lead the Solution Business around Business Analytics and inspire our BI team with exciting new opportunities to push the envelope of what's possible with data, someone who can create a sense of urgency and need in our customers to base their decisions on data driven insights, someone who sees the possibilities of what data and visualization can do. You must be able to effortlessly have meaningful conversations with the C-Suite, and provide them with strong call-to-action avenues. Whether it is Telecom, FSI, Manufacturing or whatever industry you come from we're open to hearing how you think data can disrupt those industries and others. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Master in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Adequate experience in a similar capacity within the professional services lead IT solution space which has built the capability to exercise sound judgment, decision making and ability to fulfill the critical experiences and skills listed above

Head of Strategic Support

The Head of Strategic Support will support the Chief Executive. The Chief Executive in his day to day operations will work closely with the leadership team, customers and principals in working towards important outcomes for the company. To that end, the Head of Strategic Support will help to ensure that the CEO gets the most important tasks on his list of priorities done. This role is therefore all about collaboration and facilitating the execution of critical activities to advance selected goals/outcomes.

On a typical day, the Head of Strategic Support will sit in on key strategic meetings, following with detailed notes and pursue action points to completion, particularly for those actions assigned to the Chief Executive. S/he will also draft important client emails and selected communications from the CEO's desk to high level audiences which include heads of businesses and company-wide strategic notices, for example. These will vary in content, tone and sensitivity from case to case.

The Head of Strategic Support will also personally drive one or two projects selected by and close to the Chief Executive, and get involved with driving business aspects of these projects. This will provide an opportunity to diversify the exposure of the individual assigned to this role, and advance his/her high level management skills. 

This is a fairly new position and will evolve with the needs of the business. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Any relevant degree/professional qualification to demonstrate sound academic capability ranging from technology or finance to liberal or creative arts
  • Superior English writing capabilities is a key requirement â?? any qualifications to support that would be  advantageous (for example, experience in freelance business or article writing)
  • Adequate work experience in customer services, operations, finance, marketing or other discipline, which has built the capability to exercise sound judgment and decision making 

Lead Architect - Microsoft

We have a strategic partnership with Microsoft, and some of our key solution offerings are based on Microsoft technologies. Our relationship with Microsoft has grown exponentially over the last few years, and we have been one of the few partners to have pushed the envelope of whatÃ?¢??s possible with Microsoft technologies in the Asia Pacific region. By being able to architect strategic Microsoft solutions to suite the unique IT landscape of our customers, the lead architect is expected to help them leverage the   strategic benefits promised by these pioneering technologies. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or IT, preferably backed by a masters in a related discipline.

Head of Business Development - Microsoft

The Head of Business for one of our key strategic verticals is a senior role for someone who is interested in developing an important business pillar at N-Able. S/he will generate and drive business opportunities for the solutions based on Microsoft technologies that encompass Cloud, Identity, Mobility, Data platform, Analytics, Process automation and IOT. 

On a typical day, the Head of Business will evangelize the specific business benefits of moving to cloud with Microsoft to a potential Cloud Customer, do a follow up visit to a Customer with whom we have worked on a PoC on data visualization and engages with their business sponsors. He will visit Microsoft and strategize with the Head of Enterprise business on how to jointly build a strong pipeline for large opportunities around Microsoft Data Platform and find ways of getting support from Microsoft regional resources.  

Desired Qualifications

  • Master in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Adequate experience in a similar capacity within the technology space which has built the capability to exercise sound judgment, decision making and ability to fulfill the critical experiences and skills listed above

Senior Business Consultant

The business is comprised of a dedicated team of top ICT industry veterans in the country. We have come together with a shared vision of helping our customers to enable technologies as a strategic business tool to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
The telecom practice at N*able is responsible for driving key technology developments in the area, within and outside Sri Lanka. Senior Business Consultant â?? Telecom Sector will primarily be responsible for engaging with key execs of Telecom companies, developing new solutions & business models and taking the initiative to a maturity. 

Desired Qualifications

The primary responsibility of the role is to evangelize and to drive key discussions in strategic focus areas for N*Able in the telecom space, i.e Advanced Analytics, Data brokering, Telecom core integrations, Personalized service creation and Application Connectivity. He/she must be able to build strong relationships with the C-Suite in the sector and be sensitive to the business dynamics of the sector. This should result in a strong pipeline being built for the telco practice and the candidate must work closely with the sales, pre-sales, engineering teams and partners to ensure that the engagement process is completed.
